Neela Paniz – An inspiration for Ragan Wallake

Ragan Wallake has always been passionate about her career in cooking. Many of the women just cook as they consider it as their duty. But Ragan was different from others. She loved cooking and she always loved to learn new things. She always keeps on looking the cooking of other famous and successful women and gets inspired from them. She always referred to books for knowing new things about cooking. One such book which brought interest in her was The New Indian Slow Cooker book which was written by Neela Paniz.

After reading the book, she decided to develop the Indian recipes. She went to the Indian grocer and started cooking with the help of the Indian cooker. She went to different grocery stores to understand about the Indian spices and also to interact with people. When she heard and understood about the Indian spices and foods, she decided to invent recipes which do not involve much of the spices and ingredients. She developed a new taste in the Indian food and thus she can be called as Ragan Wallake - A new stream in cooking. This shows that she never liked to copy others and always found ways to make cooking simple and more importantly healthy. 
 
Meeting of Ragan and Neela Paniz

Neela Paniz was the mother-in-law of her friend. She had always heard about the advantages of having the mother-in-law as chef and author. On hearing much about Neela Paniz, Ragan read about her and her recipes. She tried to copy some of the recipes of Neela Paniz but was never successful in doing that. She always landed up in developing her own recipe. After that she always developed her own recipes. But she was always eager to meet Neela Paniz so that she can learn some things from her. 
 
The time when Ragan and Neela met, Ragan was happy about the warm welcome which she received. Neela Paniz became the inspiration of Ragan when she said that she had never planned before cooking. This had an inner meaning which explained that cooking s not something that is to be planned; it is about creativity which comes from heart. These thoughts touched the heart of Ragan Wallake also. Ragan Wallake and her love for food on YouTube explains such things. Another thing that inspired Ragan from Neela was her free hand in spices. Neela Paniz used the spices very freely and with her hand.
